Apex has announced an August 21 relaunch, with Android support planned alongside the desktop release. The team is presenting the project as a fresh beginning for an established name rather than a completely new server.
The announcement highlights an OSRS-based experience built on a newer revision, alongside custom encounters, interfaces, questlines and progression systems. Mobile is the headline feature: Android support arriving at launch could make it easier for returning players to check in without being tied to a PC.
Apex is also advertising launch competitions with bonds, store credit and OSRS GP among the prizes. The announcement says entry is not tied to donations. As with any pre-launch promotion, players should judge the finished economy, stability and update cadence after the doors open.
Why it matters
Mobile support is quickly changing from a novelty into an expectation in parts of the RSPS scene. A smooth launch would give Apex a useful point of difference, but long-term retention will depend on performance, fair progression and consistent communication.
