Revival RSC published a Herblaw-focused update on June 14, 2026, expanding the potion system and adding quality-of-life improvements to its RuneScape Classic-inspired world.

The update is notable because Classic projects operate in a very different design space from modern custom servers. Small changes to travel, ingredients or potion availability can reshape skilling routes and the value of gathered supplies. An expansion therefore needs to feel useful without erasing the slower rhythm that attracts Classic players.

Revival RSC describes the release as adding new potions, shortcuts and other improvements. For prospective players, the more important signal may be continued maintenance itself: specialist communities tend to depend on reliable stewardship more than rapid feature churn.

Why it matters

The RSPS scene is broader than current-revision OSRS replicas. A maintained Classic server gives preservation-minded players somewhere to revisit an older ruleset while still receiving thoughtful updates.
